You're interested in stewarding Novelly into an exciting new phase: scaling and sustainability. You're eager to apply your expertise in nonprofit governance, fundraising, finance, marketing, communications, and/or public relations to champion the idea of a "civic-minded book club for teenagers." As a youth-centered organization, we're looking for youth and adult allies from diverse backgrounds to join our Board of Directors.
We’re looking for someone who loves to connect. You’re motivated to close partnerships, big and small, and learn how to build close ties with influencers and organizations that impact many young people.
Strategic Partnerships interns work as a team and under a manager. You’ll be responsible for communicating with your leads and maintaining your “partnerships funnel.” You’ll adjust and create materials for partners.
Strategic Partnerships interns commit to 5-10 hours per week during the semester (we’re currently recruiting our team for Spring 2022!). Please note this is unpaid, but we’ve successfully supported past interns in getting outside funding.
A college student who trains high school students to lead courageous conversations with their peers. They host online calls, where students practice under their guidance. Coaches also join a coaches network with monthly calls for socializing, professional development, and peer support.
Each SLA Coach is assigned a group of 5 high school students each semester and is responsible for:
3 hours per week for 8 weeks in a semester (fall and spring). Please note that this a volunteer position.
